The DS4Health Seminar Series (2025) was a six-session online precursor to the 21 August workshop at the Deep Learning Indaba. Spanning from 22 May through 14 August, the series features curated talks and interactive discussions with leading voices in African health data science, covering themes such as machine-learning for diagnostics, neuroAI,sensor development and deployment in low-resource settings. Each three-weekly session brought together practitioners and researchers to deepen their knowledge, sharpen their questions, and build peer networks ahead of the in-person event. As Programming Chair, I organised the seminars, hosted and facilitated the live Q&A. Participants who attended 60% of the sessions earned a certificate of participation, and the most thoughtful question submitted across the series will received a prize to honour the spirit of inquiry, innovation, and African-led impact at the heart of DS4Health.
